"As I mentioned in the game thread, I made my second trip of the 2008 season out to Shea to see the Mets take on the Braves. While there were certain aspects of the afternoon that I enjoyed a great deal - the Mets winning, spending the game talking baseball with Howard Megdal and his family, a relatively warm April day - I saw and heard many things that troubled me...Bottom of the second. The boos rain down as soon as Delgado’s name is announced, before he even steps into the batter’s box. Howard and his wife wonder aloud what the boo-ers think they are accomplishing..."
